Rear view mirror products has always been manufactured outside South Africa and mainly imported. Flextech entered into technical agreements with FICOSA, an international market leader in the production of rear view mirrors to manufacture and assemble mirrors in South Africa under licence and technical know-how.
Flextech is the one of two manufacturers in South Africa that has been successful in negotiating rear view mirror contracts. Flextech is now a market leader in South Africa and is currently manufacturing exterior rear view mirrors for the VW Polo and Vivo.
